Last updated November 4, 2026Answers to common questions about Rondo, and how to reach me.
Rondo shows sample cards instead of my contacts.
Rondo needs permission to read Apple Contacts. Tap Show my contacts at the top of the wheel. If you chose Don't Allow before, iOS won't ask again: open Settings › Apps › Rondo › Contacts and choose Full Access, or pick the people you want.
Only some of my contacts are on the wheel.
You've shared only some contacts with Rondo. Tap Add more at the top of the wheel to choose more people, or open Settings › Apps › Rondo › Contacts and choose Full Access.
Where are my changes saved?
In Apple Contacts. When you add, edit or delete a card, or change a photo, the change is saved to Apple Contacts right away, so it shows up in Phone, Messages and, with iCloud Contacts, on your other devices.
How do I add someone?
Tap + and choose New card. A blank card comes out of the wheel for you to type on. With Rondo Pro you can also choose Scan a business card, and Rondo types it onto a new card for you to check.
How do I find someone quickly?
Tap the magnifying glass and search by name, company, phone number or email, or touch and slide down the letters on the right side of the wheel.
How do I put someone on my Home Screen?
Pull out their card and tap the star. Then touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit › Add Widget, and choose Rondo. Tap a card on the widget to open it in Rondo.
Why aren't contact notes shown?
Apple only lets apps read the notes field with special permission, which Rondo has asked for. Your notes are safe in Apple Contacts, and editing a card in Rondo doesn't change them.
What does Rondo Pro include?
Business card scanning, and finishes for the desk (light oak or ebonized), the stand (chrome or brass) and the cards (bright white, kraft or sage). It's a one-time purchase, shared with your family through Family Sharing.
I bought Rondo Pro on another device.
Open the Rondo Pro screen (+ › Scan a business card, or the paintbrush › any finish marked PRO) and tap Restore purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account.
