Terms of use
Last updated November 4, 2026The rules for using Rondo. Short version: it's your address book, kept in Apple Contacts, and Rondo is a nicer way to look through it.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Dylan Bono ("we", "us") for the Rondo app and this website. By downloading or using Rondo, you agree to them. Rondo is also licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If the two conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.
2. Your license
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Rondo on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's usage rules. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the app, or try to reverse engineer it, except where the law allows it.
3. Your contacts
The contacts Rondo shows and edits are yours and live in Apple Contacts, as described in our privacy policy. When you add, edit or delete a card, Rondo makes that change in Apple Contacts, and it may sync to your other devices. Please double-check changes that matter, and keep your own backups, for example with iCloud.
4. Purchases
Rondo Pro is sold through the App Store and governed by Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
5. Ownership
The Rondo name, icon, design and software belong to Dylan Bono.
6. No warranty
Rondo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the app will be error-free or always available.
7. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of Rondo. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Rondo, if anything.
8. Apple
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for Rondo and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Rondo.
- If Rondo fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation for Rondo.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to Rondo, including product liability claims, claims that Rondo fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection claims and claims that Rondo infringes someone's intellectual property.
- You confirm that you aren't located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and aren't on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
9. Ending these terms
You can stop using Rondo at any time by deleting it. Your contacts stay in Apple Contacts. If you break these terms, your license ends automatically.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and change the date at the top. Using Rondo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
